NINA FIOCCO

Nina Fiocco (Feltre, 1985) is an artist, curator and cultural manager. These different plans are articulated to give rise to collective projects and artistic practices that adopt field work and collaboration as a practice and in general linked to history, micro-history, alternative economies.

She co-directs with Oscar Formacio the artist-run-space ERROR in Puebla (MX) where residences, collective training processes and exchange of knowledge, publications and exhibitions are hosted. In 2020 she is artist in residence at MOP-Ovestlab (Modena, IT), guest curator at MUME (Vienna AU) and artist in residence at Curatorial Cinema (Bogota, CO). She currently teaches the Degree Course in Contemporary Art at the Ibero University; since 2016 you have constantly collaborated with the Amparo Museum in the curation and academic coordination of various public programs and some projects. He participated in residency programs in Italy, Serbia, France, Colombia and Hungary including Piano / Alto – Chapelle Saint Jacques, Maison Daura, BBB (France), in 2012 Chipilo A / R research project funded by Movin’up and in 2011 Atelier, Bevilacqua la Masa Foundation (Venice).

Since 2013 Nina Fiocco has been the founder and member of the artistic production collective Método Salgari. Recently you have participated in the following exhibitions “Latin American Cartographies” curated by Antonio José Guzmán in Bozar-Brussels (Belgium); “The wall. Art face to face with the border” curated by Stanislaw Ruksza in Trafo – Szczecin (Poland); “Bjcem” curated by Jonida Turani in Tirana (Albania) in collaboration with Atrii; “Fibras” curated by Luis Javier Rodríguez at the CCCB – Córdoba (Mexico); “Urban Lab” curated by Laic at the Centro Cultural de la Universidad de Antioquia in Medellín (Colombia); “Pase Usted” curated by Gustavo Ramírez at the Capilla del Arte – Puebla (Mexico); Biennale UNAM in the Muca Museum in Mexico City; Método Salgari: Modulor – curated by the Ideal City at the Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan (Italy); Piano Alto curated by Martine Michard and Stefania Meazza at the Maison des Arts Georges Pompidou in Cajarc (France). Her work has also been presented or exhibited in various spaces including in Italy, Careof, Macao, Studi Festival (Milan); Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation, Buziol Foundation, A + A Gallery (Venice); Indipendenti-ArteVerona, Interzona (Verona ); CRAC (Cremona); Euganea Film Festival (Padua); Santarcangelo 40 (Santarcangelo).
