Christelle Lheureux<\/strong> is French artist and film maker living in Paris. She studied contemporary art at university, Beaux-Arts and Le Fresnoy. She began making video installations in 1998, for personal and collective exhibitions in art centers and Biennales in Europe, Asia and North America. She did many residencies in Asia, mostly in Japan, Vietnam and Thailand. Her art work is in public & private collections, represented by Artericambi Gallery (Italy) and Blancpain (Switzerland). She collborate with many other artists, film makers, writers and musicians. Her art work deals mostly with non linear stories where screens, moving images and sounds are split up; playing with the narrative structure and memory audience. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Simultaneously, she starts making short and mediumfilms without scripts, usually in hybrid langage offiction and documentary. They have been produced with her company Les films des lucioles. All her films has been selected in international film festival from 2005. Her last medium film La maladie blanche gets many awards. She has been jury of international competition in Belfort (France), BAFICI (Argentina) and Sevilla (Spain).She is part of French film critic magazine Independencia.fr. Christellejust shoot a medium film Madeleine and the 2 Apaches and is preparing another medium film with baptypshere production (France). She isnow developing her first narrative feature Le vent des ombres with baptysphere and Kick the machine (Thailand, A. Weerasethakul), with the support of FIDLab, Torino film lab (Script&Pitch & Frame Work) and Rotterdam film festival (Cinemart).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She teaches cinema and contemporary art at HEAD Geneva from 2006, where she organisedworkshops with Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Miguel Gomes, Albert Serra, Raya Martin, among others.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text].<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator color=”custom” border_width=”5″ accent_color=”#b6d8d7″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\n
