Palazzo Forti throws open its doors and once again welcomes the public with a new initiative. An event that marks the first phase of an ambitious journey, destined to reach full realization through future, forward-looking programming, born of a renewed collaboration between the Municipality of Verona and Fondazione Cariverona.The reopening of the Palazzo, which took place in October 2025 on the occasion of the 20th edition of ArtVerona, was met with an extraordinary public response, demonstrating the city’s strong desire to once again pass through and experience the rooms of this place rich in history. A significant milestone, the result of the commitment of the municipal administration and Fondazione Cariverona to fully return the Palazzo to the community and to strengthen Verona’s role as a driving force for art, culture, and creative planning.
Within this broader objective, the Achille Forti Modern Art Gallery presents Ápeiron | Without Boundaries, an exhibition project with an international scope, conceived as a space for research, openness, and exchange, hosted in the prestigious setting of Palazzo Forti.The exhibition unfolds through the rooms of the palace, where the historic interiors are transformed into places of dialogue and resonance. Here, works and installations by leading figures of the contemporary art scene weave new narratives in relation to the memory of the site and the sensibilities of the present.
Drawn from the Gallery’s civic collection, the works on display explore the tensions and complexities of contemporary society: from increasingly fragmented and polarized communication to the multiple relationships between individuals, time, and memory; from the fleeting allure of success within the global star system to reflections on gender identity, and finally to the ethical questions raised by scientific and technological progress.
