Montagna rosa e Morel, which reproduces a primordial form of the mountain, is part of the Fantômes cycle, ink drawings started years ago during a delicate pregnancy where the tracks of the mountains replace the passes that the artist would have liked to climb. The dense path drawn in ink progressively loses the reference to a real nature and the image becomes more and more mental and abstract until it becomes a ghost.
