Starting from Andrea Zanzotto’s profound reflection on the landscape in general and on the Veneto landscape in particular, the exhibition aims to celebrate one of the major figures of Italian poetry of the twentieth century and, at the same time, to foster new opportunities for dialogue that relate Zanzotto’s work with the gaze of some artists, contemporary and otherwise, on the landscape.

The complexity of the Zanzotto’s gaze is gave thanks to the presence of different modes of expression; a succession of eras and languages that takes us from the Renaissance to the contemporary, from the work of Tiziano Vecellio to that of young contemporary artists.
