Giovanni Morbin will conduct a three-day workshop open to the public upon registration and for the students of the Master’s Degree in Didactics for the Aldo Galli Academy Museum in Como, IED and MA * GA Museum.

GO AND / OR STARE is a workhop that theoretically reflects and investigates in a practical way the relationships between sedentary lifestyle and nomadism, understood not only as two practices of knowledge and measurement of space, but as an effective existential condition. The reference points for this exploration led by the artist Giovanni Morbin will be the works of artists such as Richard Long, Piero Manzoni, Ugo La Pietra, Vito Acconci and the critical essays by Francesco Carreri (Walkscape. Walking as an artistic practice) and Gian Antonio Gilli ( Body arts. Six cases of stylism).
The laboratory is an integral part of the Phenomenology of the Body teaching, active within the two-year course and will take place at the temporary headquarters of the MA * GA, the Museo della Studi Patri, from 12 to 14 April 2013. Participation in the workshop is open to the public.
