Artericambi is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Accademia di Belle Arti di Verona for the project “First Step 12 – Foglie Giallo Biloba”.
Since 2008, First Step has supported the professional development of the Academy’s students within the art ecosystem, offering workshops, lectures, and exhibitions hosted in art galleries, institutions, and exhibition spaces throughout Verona and in key neighboring cities.
The twelfth edition features 14 emerging artists, initially selected by a committee of experts and subsequently chosen by partner galleries and exhibition spaces. The result is a programme of six exhibitions, ranging from solo shows to group presentations.
On Saturday, 17 January 2026 at 4 pm, the Artericambi gallery will open two solo exhibitions dedicated to Alessia De Battista and Ilaria Marchi.
In Mute Exhibition, the artist Ilaria Marchi explores emotional relationships in all their complexity, revealing the fragility of bonds, the challenges of communication, and the tension between the desire to remain present and the risk of disappearing. Through installations and performances, she constructs spaces where intimacy emerges through contrast: lightness and weight, presence and absence, silence and sound. Materials and gestures become metaphors for what cannot be spoken or heard. Her works do not seek answers but create suspended spaces where viewers are invited to linger in uncertainty and embrace the complexity of human connections.
