While the public waits for something to happen in the agreed place (Sorte-VR, memorial stone of Boccioni’s death), the artist whizzes past them aboard the train that leads to Trento. Only a few have seen it, many have the feeling that nothing has happened and / or that they have lost something: after a hundred years from Boccione’s theories we still look in a central perspective.

After more than an hour Morbin meets the public in the waiting room of the Rovereto railway station among those who go and those who remain.

– HYBRIDIZATION 8

it is the ninth of a series of performances defined by Giovanni Morbin as “Hybridizations”. The work that is inspired by the work and ideas of U. Boccioni (Futurist Painting Sculpture – Futurist Ed. Of “Poesia”, Milan 1914) brings to general attention the need for renewal of the daily gesture and a more prudent reasoning than to the events that we determine as commonplaces. By playing on the force lines of movement and perceptual decomposition, this performative project shows particular attention to action and behavior even when it manifests itself at the limit of visibility. In this sense the artist refers us to a work of 2005 Space Walk, Hybridization 5 in which with his left hand incorporated in a plaster globe, he often carried out daily activities such as dressing, eating, in the intimacy of his own private washing, etc.

Maximum punctuality is recommended. For those who prefer, there is also a departure from the Artericambi gallery in Via A. Cesari 10. The appointment is scheduled for 16:00.
